Joint Collaborative Committees

Join us on January 25, 2027, to share the story of your Joint Collaborative Committee (JCC) project, program, or initiative with colleagues and partners at the JCC Showcase. The overarching theme is once again “Connect, Collaborate, Elevate.”

Workshop

Presenters: Maximum of three (3)

Length: 60 minutes

We suggest including at least 20 minutes of hands-on activity or small group work, as well as   time for a Q&A in your session agenda.

The exact time and location of your workshop will be communicated closer to the event date.

Each presenter must complete a disclosure form and include a verbal disclosure statement during their presentation. You must also include a disclosure slide in your presentation immediately after your title slide. More information will be provided to confirmed presenters in the coming months.

Rapid-Fire

Presenters: Maximum of two (2)

Length: 15 minutes

We recommend limiting your presentation to 10 minutes to allow five minutes for questions. Your presentation will be one of three themed, back-to-back presentations within a 60-minute breakout session. A moderator will assist with timekeeping.

The exact time, location, and theme of your breakout session will be communicated closer to the event date.

Each presenter must complete a disclosure form and include a verbal disclosure statement during their presentation. You must also include a disclosure slide in your presentation immediately after your title slide. More information will be provided to confirmed presenters in the coming months.

Storyboard

Presenters: Maximum of one (1)

Poster size: Maximum 44” x  44”

Storyboards will be displayed throughout the day and featured during the storyboard reception from 4:30–6:00 p.m. We ask that your confirmed presenter be present at your storyboard for the duration of the reception.

You are responsible for designing, editing, and printing your storyboard. There are no design requirements, so get creative! Your storyboard should clearly illustrate your project and demonstrate your stated outcomes.

Your assigned poster number and location will be communicated closer to the event date.

Attendees will be able to view all storyboards throughout the day, and every storyboard will be eligible for attendee voting for the People’s Choice Award. We encourage you to put up your storyboard as early as possible.

If you are looking for printing services you may wish to use  Staples Print & Marketing Services, located inside the Hyatt Regency. Please plan ahead to ensure your storyboard is ready in time for the Showcase.

General AI Guidelines

If AI-generated content is used, it must be reviewed for equity and accuracy, and for mitigation of any AI-introduced bias. A human expert review must be applied to AI-assisted educational materials. Speakers must disclose to participants when and where artificial intelligence (AI) tools are used in content creation and how the content was reviewed for accuracy.

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and relationship-building to support quality improvement initiatives across BC health care settings.
  2. Engage physicians, health care professionals, communities, and patients to share their learnings and actions that can lead to meaningful and measurable change.
  3. Analyze successful projects and initiatives across the JCCs to identify opportunities to align, scale, or spread learnings that improve care, experience, and outcomes.
  4. Identify and celebrate innovative ideas and measurement approaches to improve care delivery and evaluate their impact within local or system-level contexts.
