The JCC Showcase offers a unique opportunity to connect, share ideas, and engage with peers from across the health care system. The JCC Showcase is also a forum to hear ideas and discuss solutions to collective challenges. Funding and support from all the Joint Collaborative Committees enables programs and initiatives such as the Rural Coordination Centre of BC, Divisions of Family Practice, Facility Engagement, Physician Quality Improvement, Shared Care Projects and Communities of Practice, Practice Support Program and Doctors Technology Office to enhance patient care and improve the professional satisfaction of doctors in BC.

We acknowledge that the 2027 JCC Showcase will take place on the traditional territories of the Coast Salish peoples including the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations whose historical relationship with the land continues today.
Physicians and other health care partners who work in British Columbia are invited to attend the JCC Showcase.
Any practicing BC physician who attends the JCC Showcase will receive support as follows:
Registration: The JCCs will cover all registration fees. There will be no payment required during the registration process. However, there is limited space available.
Sessional Time: Sessional payment will be available for attending the JCC Showcase up to a maximum of seven (7) hours. Details on how to submit your sessional time will be provided closer to the event date.
Travel and Accommodation: Travel and accommodation expenses will be reimbursed by the JCCs in accordance with the JCC Physician Sessional and Expense Guidelines.
There is no charge to attend the JCC Showcase, however, BC physicians are given priority over non-BC Physicians, unless you are a confirmed speaker at the event.
There are limited numbers of presenters eligible to attend the 2027 JCC Showcase based on the acceptance of your submission. If you are accepted as a workshop, you can have up to 3 presenters. If you are accepted as a rapid-fire presentation, you can have up to 2 presenters. If you are accepted as a storyboard, you can have only 1 presenter.
All presenters who are BC Physicians will have the full coverage of any attending BC Physician. For any non-physician presenters travel and accommodation expenses will be reimbursed by the JCCs in accordance with JCC Non-Physician Expense Policy.
A discounted rate will be available for booking hotel accommodations at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver. The discounted nightly rate will start at $299 CAD (up to double occupancy), plus applicable taxes and fees. Booking a hotel room at this discounted rate will become available when registration opens in fall 2026.
