Joint Collaborative Committees

Collaborative work through the JCCs is about building partnerships; it’s not all about funding. As part of these partnerships, some funding may be available for individuals or groups working on innovative and relevant projects designed to improve patient care and build a stronger health care system.

Provides innovation and partnership funding to support local-level projects.

Provides training and supports to physicians to lead quality improvement projects that increase capacity.

Streams of Work

Provides funding and guidelines for the following streams of work:

  • Coordinating complex care for older adults
  • Partners in care/Transitions in Care
  • Spread Networks (maternity, chronic pain, adult mental health and substance use)

Health System Redesign

Compensates physicians for participation in acute and community-based health projects within a health authority or the health authority component of a provincial or inter-health authority project.
