Through the JCCs, any practicing BC physician who attends the JCC Conference will receive the following support:
- Registration: The JCC Conference has no registration fee. No payment will be required during the registration process, but please note, there will be limited spots available to physicians.
- Sessional time: Attendees will be eligible for sessional payment for attending the JCC Conference up to a maximum of seven (7) hours per day. Details on how to submit your sessional time will be provided closer to the event date.
- Travel and accommodation: The JCCs will cover travel and accommodation expenses in accordance with the JCC Conference Expense Guidelines.
- Virtual attendees: Sessional time is not available for virtual attendees.
- Divisions of Family Practice Attendees: Funding for participation is covered through each Division’s Collaboration Funding (including in the annual FPSC funding). This covers the costs for one executive director or staff lead and two family doctors to attend two provincial events per year. All expenses and sessional payments for the JCC Conference and FPSC Summit should be billed directly to your Division for reimbursement.
