DESCRIPTION:The Joint Collaborative Committees (JCCs)\, in partnership with Len Pierre Consulting\, are hosting a Community-Based Experiential Learning Session. \nWe are grateful to hold this session on the unceded\, ancestral\, and traditional shared territories of the Songhees\, Xʷsepsəm (Esquimalt) and W̱SÁNEĆ (Saanich) people\, who have lived on and stewarded these lands and waters since time out of mind. This session provides cultural safety and humility teachings through immersive learning and provides opportunities for ongoing relationship-building with Indigenous communities. \nSessional time\, dinner\, and mileage exceeding 50 km one-way are provided. We welcome registration from interprofessional team members (ITMs) who make up team-based care and offer a stipend to ITMs who are not salaried. \nPlease note space is limited to 60 participants. DESCRIPTION:January 25\, 2027\nHyatt Regency Vancouver\n655 Burrard Street\, Vancouver\, BC\nThe Joint Collaborative Committees (JCC)\, a partnership between Doctors of BC and the Government of BC\, are pleased to announce the 2027 JCC Showcase\, a dynamic event presenting progress and innovation from the Family Practice Services Committee (FPSC)\, Shared Care Committee (SCC)\, Specialist Services Committee (SSC)\, and Joint Standing Committee on Rural Issues (JSC). \nThis event offers a unique opportunity to connect\, share ideas\, and engage with peers from across the health care system. The JCC Showcase is also a forum to hear ideas and discuss solutions to collective challenges. Come together with your peers to learn more about quality improvement\, foster collaboration\, and promote advances in health care. \nGet inspired by the learnings and leadership from the 2025 JCC Conference and Showcase\, and see what to expect at 2027’s event. This event requires registration to attend\, and online registration will open fall 2026. \n\nAbstract submissions are now closed. \nThe review process is currently underway.
